What is this investment opportunity?
This is a Founder Investment Round designed to support the next phase of growth for Dream Legacy BBQ. The round is structured as a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity), allowing early investors to participate in the future equity of the business as it expands.
Why is the business raising capital now?
Demand for Dream Legacy BBQ is increasing across catering, events, and community service. Capital will allow the business to:
• expand production capacity
• stabilize operations
• increase participation in higher-revenue opportunities
• continue building a premium, scalable brand
Investment Structure
What is a SAFE?
A SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) is an agreement that allows investors to invest now and receive equity in the future when the company completes a priced financing round.
What are the terms of this SAFE?
• Total Raise: Up to $300,000
• Valuation Cap: $3,000,000
• Discount Rate: 10%
• Interest: None
How do investors make a return?
Investors receive equity in a future priced financing round based on the SAFE terms. The return is dependent on the future growth, valuation, and potential liquidity events of the business.
Is there a guaranteed return or payout timeline?
No. This is an early-stage investment. Returns are not guaranteed and are tied to the long-term performance and growth of the business.
Will I receive equity immediately?
No. The SAFE converts into equity in a future priced round. At that time, your investment converts into shares based on the valuation cap or discount, whichever is more favorable.
